Installation Stages
1. Opening Preparation
During rafter installation, we plan the required opening or cut out part of existing rafters with mandatory reinforcement of side posts.
2. Waterproofing Collar Installation
The collar is a special membrane cuff that frames the window and directs moisture into the roofing waterproofing layer.
3. Window Block Installation
The window is positioned in the opening, leveled, and secured with screws through mounting holes in the frame.
4. Perimeter Insulation
Gaps between the frame and rafters are filled with mounting foam. A thermal insulation collar is added on top.
5. Flashing and Trim Installation
External flashing directs water into the roofing. Internal trim provides decorative finishing.

Per building codes, window area should be 1/8 of floor area. For 20 m² — a 78×118 cm or 78×140 cm window is sufficient.
Is a waterproofing collar necessary?
Yes, the waterproofing collar is mandatory. Without it, water will penetrate under the roofing.
